
Outdoor Advertising in Bolivia

Bolivian outdoor advertising company M.A.H.S. SRL has installed Mediacaster digital signage software to control giant LED screens in four major cities.
MAHS, an established outdoor advertising company based in Santa Cruz, provides a variety of outdoor advertising services such as traditional outdoor billboards, branded urban furniture and industrial signage. Recently, owner Miguel Menses decided to add outdoor LED screens to the company portfolio with an initial installation of Pantallas Digitales in La Paz, Santa Cruz, Cochamba and El Alto.

Since the locations are separated by large distances, it was important that the software was very stable and that the network could be monitored in real-time from the main offices in Santa Cruz “It is costly and time-consuming to travel long distances in Bolivia and I wanted a digital signage product that I could rely on because some sites were more than 700km away.” said Miguel.
“In addition, proof of playback was a critical requirement for advertisers who could not easily monitor the screens, so comprehensive monitoring and reporting features were very important to me.” To become familiar with the software, MAHS used Mediacaster to drive a large outdoor LED screen for a Mitsubishi car launch. After this successful introduction to the system, Miguel installed the Mediacaster Player software at the four outdoor sites.
The Mediacaster Manager application was installed at MAHS head offices in Santa Cruz and digital media content updates are sent to the Players over a VPN as the schedule demands.
