Out Of Home Advertising

Out of home advertising refers to advertising that is displayed in public areas such as airports, outdoor concert venues, bars, restaurants, cafes, college campuses, convention centres and retail environments.

This form of advertising is displayed on electronic screens and is generally referred to as digital signage. The digital signage displays are usually part of location-based networks that are located in areas that serve content to targeted audiences. Digital technology extends the possibilities of traditional advertising, enabling multi-channel displays that are potentially interactive and which display dynamic content. Digital technologies also enable the measurement of content and audience viewership, as well as other diverse metrics. All the data gathered can then be analysed to provide valuable feedback on various aspects of the digital out of home (DOOH) network.
