Digital Signage Networks
Digital signage networks deliver content, such as advertising or information, to a diverse number of locations that can potentially target specific audiences. The digital signage network delivers the content to LCD, plasma or LED displays that are primarily in place to attract the attention of the out-of-home customer. The screens are generally situated in high traffic areas where customer attention is optimal. These could include retail entrances, POS venues, queue points, inside taxi’s or buses etc.
Traditionally signage networks either broadcast or narrowcast content to displays that involves very little customer and context orientated interactivity. More dynamic systems of display such as interactive kiosks and location based content playback are pushing the boundaries of what is possible on digital signage networks.
