Digital Media Networks
Digital media networks deliver content, such as advertising or information, to a diverse number of locations that can targets specific audiences. The content is typically displayed on LCD, plasma or LED displays that are typically placed in high traffic areas where customer attention is optimal. These could include retail entrances, POS venues, queue points, inside taxi’s or buses etc.
Traditionally media networks either broadcast or narrowcast content to displays that involves very little customer and context orientated interactivity. More dynamic systems of display such as interactive kiosks and location based content playback are pushing the boundaries of what is possible on digital media networks.
