• Codec packs such as K-Lite are not suitable for Mediacaster, rather use Ffdshow.
• The Nero media player should not be installed on the Player. It may cause problems in some cases.
• In Windows Vista you need to turn off User Account Control in Start/Control Panel/User Accounts/Turn User Account Control on or off.
• If your Windows "Regional and Language Options" is set to non English "Standards and Formats" and you get a database error when you start Mediacaster then you need to install the following Microsoft update: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/913296
• The Manager and Server NT service need to run on the same PC in version 2.0. The FTP server can be the same PC or a remote server.
